My midterm talks about a lesser-known period of the art of famous 20th-century artist Pablo Picasso. It aims to teach the user about his lithographies in the mid to late 1940s, giving an interpretation and context for each art piece. I also wrote a brief introduction about Pablo Picasso so people who are not familiar with him can get a little context before diving in this period of his art. I got my information from a Tate Museum dataset and additional research on the internet. The digital exhibition consists of an Omeka website as it is easy to use and browse. I hope humanities researchers find it as a great source of information about his lesser known works and use the fact that its metadata is in Dublin Core on their research. I also hope students can use the website as a way to learn more about this great artist.
